Fiserv, a leading financial services technology firm, desired a solution for combining multiple office locations around Atlanta into one hub in Alpharetta. They called in tvsdesign to custom create a multi-functional environment that encouraged mobility and supported plans for a sustainable future growth. The resulting 390,000 sf campus is state-of-the-art, tech-friendly and filled with unique design elements that accommodate a variety of working needs. With an immersive brand presence, the workplace delivers an unparalleled experience for both clients and employees.

FROM THE WOW-INSPIRING FRONT LOBBY TO THE TECH-ENABLED WORK SPACES, CLIENTS AND STAFF ALIKE ARE IMMERSED IN THE FISERV BRAND

DESIGN GOALS & STRATEGY

The team of experts at tvsdesign provided full- service design services including pre-design and FF&E. The client needed a space that seamlessly brought its former offices together, integrated branding elements and supported its employees in ways that allow them to do their best work and foster for future growth.

After a series of workplace strategy sessions, tvsdesign set out to implement a solution that would satisfy Fiserv’s branding, corporate real estate and functional needs. Fiserv readily made some bold decisions about the future of their company, examining current culture and size to plan for their future. Whereas Fiserv’s previous office lacked the brand presence that it needed to illustrate the technological nature of their work, they planned for the new Atlanta office to be a living expression of the Fiserv brand with a clean, simple aesthetic and tech-forward functionality integration throughout the campus. As a further design challenge, the resulting workplace needed to be inviting, yet still meet all the required security needs for the financial services industry. For employees, the client desired a variety of work spaces for everything from group.

The team strategized closely with technology, acoustic, lighting and environmental graphics consultants. With the help of the landscape consultants, they were able to deliver a seamless outside in inside out design solution that took advantage of the wooded suburban site to create a true campus feel.

RESULTS

From the wow-inspiring front lobby to the tech-enabled work spaces, clients and staff alike are immersed in the Fiserv brand. Each floor is equipped with high-speed internet and a combination of both individual and community spaces that give employees the choice to work in a variety of settings that suit their needs. Other employee amenities include a café, cafeteria, conference/training center, client briefing center, fitness center and health clinic.

To build brand recognition, the designers integrated the orange color and the square “Proof Point” from the client’s logo, into every aspect of the design. These elements were incorporated tastefully and thoughtfully in all areas of the space to complete a cohesive branding. Other design features like lighting fixtures, digital artwork and signage all were used to illustrate the innovative nature of the client’s work.

The Client Experience Center, a suspended, box-like space visible from the exterior of the building, creates brand exposure before the client even enters the building and reinforces it once clients take elevators up to meet with Fiserv associates in the innovative space.

With a new brand aesthetic and seamless technology integration, the Atlanta Fiserv office now serves as the ultimate productivity tool for associates by giving them the freedom and space to do their best work. It’s a work environment that gets out of the way and allows each experience at the Fiserv office, from clients and visitors to staff, to be the best experience possible.
