Atlanta United glad to finally make transition to its Marietta headquarters

MARIETTA — Atlanta United began its permanent residence at its Cobb County headquarters Tuesday afternoon.

While the facility’s 30,000-square-foot building is still a work in progress, United will practice the rest of the season on its six full-length fields. Before Tuesday, the team had spent most of their practices at the Atlanta Falcons’ headquarters in Flowery Branch — taking advantage of the two franchises’ common owner, Arthur Blank.
